These engines were constructed to work at steam pressures up to 100 ibs, per, sq. in., and carefully tested under steam.
They are self contained, needing no outer bearing.
The flywheel can be fixed on either side of crank shaft.
Each engine is fitted with Pickering type high speed governor or with the Tangye-Johnson Automatic Expansion gear.
A Right Hand engine is one having the flywheel on the Right when standing at the flywheel end and facing the cylinder
